It was wonderful to see you all again, and to meet many new students today. The fresh start of a school year is always so exciting.

I think the first day of school is my busiest day of the school year. So many of you were seeking books for SSR.

If I could not get to you in time, please come back and I will help you find something great to read.

My favorite book of the summer was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I re-read HP5 and HP 6 to refresh the details before HP7. Like many of you, I am sad that a great series had to come to an end. Her ending left me feeling satisfied, though.
